Capital advise on Inspire Wales investment into luxury homeware brand, Jenny Kate
Jenny Kate, a British luxury homeware brand, was founded by textiles graduate Jenny Evans shortly before she began studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She first won the National Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Award, in October 2017. She then secured a place on the NatWest Accelerator programme in Cardiff.
In late 2018, Jenny pitched Jenny Kate to the Inspire Wales Investment Committee—who agreed to fund her, as did investors through Angels Invest Wales, to the tune of £350,000.
Capital Law acted for both the investors and Jenny Kate in the investment, with different teams on separate sides of an information barrier.
