Andrew Rees (Capital Law)

Andrew Rees

Solicitor
Employment & Immigration

Andrew is a Solicitor in our Employment & Immigration team. He works with a range of clients, both businesses and individuals, on a variety of employment and HR issues – both contentious and non-contentious.

Andrew joined Capital Law as a trainee solicitor in October 2016. Since then, he has spent nine months on secondment at The Royal Mint. While on secondment at The Royal Mint, he worked closely with their in-house legal team and several departments across the business on a range of work including implementing a GDPR compliance plan.

Andrew also helps deliver training on GDPR and the impact of devolution and Welsh law.

Andrew made an invaluable contribution whilst on secondment with the business over a 9 month period. He assumed responsibility in updating our suite of template agreements and worked closely with the Compliance team to ensure the business was GDPR ready. Andrew displayed excellent research and drafting skills whilst carrying out a variety of tasks with different departments across the Mint. He has developed a good knowledge of our business, which cannot be under-estimated. I look forward to working with him in the future.
