Real Estate

Carrie is a Construction, Energy and Projects Associate in our Real Estate team.

Carrie helps her clients to deliver challenging and complex projects in various jurisdictions. She has advised public and private sector clients in the UK and internationally, supporting them to deliver their outcomes on time and to budget.

Prior to joining Capital, Carrie had an extensive career as a business and management consultant in Southern Africa. She brings a wealth of practical and commercial experience, supported by her MBA, to her engagement with clients.

In 2014, Carrie was awarded an MBE from the Queen for services to British consular and business interests in Mozambique.

Carrie is a really lovely person to work with. She was one of the few people who reached out to me personally through lockdown and just said aside from work, how are you? How’s it going for you? And showed a level of understanding about some of the challenges that I might be going through, with no agenda – some people do that and you know that they are just doing it because their trying to sell you the next piece of work, but I felt that she was genuinely understating of the challenges of COVID-19 and how that was impacting on myself and my business. She is also phenomenally bright and comes up with some great ideas. She worked in other fields before she became a lawyer, so she’s got a much more holistic and broader approach to things and comes up with some ideas that you wouldn’t necessarily expect to get a lawyer of her level of qualification.
