Elizabeth is an Associate in our Corporate and Commercial team, dealing with a wide range of corporate work. She also provides specialist advice to family owned businesses and clients in the not-for-profit sector. 

Elizabeth helps clients in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors with their acquisitions, mergers and disposals, assisting with all stages of the transaction process. She also helps clients with corporate restructuring, demergers, and joint ventures, advising on the establishment of new special-purpose-vehicles (SPVs) to conduct a variety of projects.

Elizabeth works with private companies, trust corporations, charities, not for profit and public sector clients on their corporate governance matters, including director and trustee duties. She also prepares bespoke shareholders’ agreements, articles of association and advises on the establishment of management incentive schemes.

A qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the global professional association for specialists in succession planning, Elizabeth advises individuals on the establishment of family offices.

Grŵp has worked successfully with Capital Law and Lexington to complete the purchase of North Wales Training, and I was very pleased with the professional guidance we received during this journey.

  • Ascona Retail Limited on its acquisition of Cornwall Garage Group Limited.
  • The shareholders on the sale of Cargo Services UK Limited, a maritime logistics and distribution company, to SIMEC Shipping Co. Ltd, part of the GFG Alliance. This transaction was named ‘deal of the month’ by Insider Media and was nominated for ‘deal of the year’ at the Insider Dealmakers Awards 2019.
  • Grŵp Llandrillo Menai, a Welsh further education institution, on its acquisition of North Wales Training Limited, a not for profit training establishment.
  • Trustees of a Welsh unincorporated association with charitable status in relation to its “incorporation”, through the creation of a new CIO, the transfer of assets from the unincorporated charity to the CIO, and charitable linkage for administration purposes.
  • A High Net Worth individual on the creation, structuring and investment into three new large corporate groups and the establishment of a family office.
