Gareth is a Senior Associate in our Corporate & Commercial team. Gareth’s focus is on private equity, but he works on a broad range of corporate transactions.

Gareth’s specialism is private equity – he advises management teams, private equity sponsors and portfolio companies. He also advises on general M&A, property investment (via corporate vehicles) and capital markets.

Since joining Capital, he has acted on transactions backed by private equity houses such as WestBridge Capital, RJD Partners, GMT Communications and Development Bank of Wales.

Before joining Capital, Gareth spent the best part of a decade in the City of London where he attended law school prior to training and qualifying at City firm, SJ Berwin.

  • InsurTech company Insurami, a lease deposit guarantee provider, on their seed investment round.
  • ThingCo Limited, a successful InsurTech telematics strategy company, with their initial investment from external investors.
