Hannah is a Senior Associate in our Commercial Property Team. She advises on a range of commercial property transactions, especially landlord and tenant.

Hannah has a broad range of experience including development work, real estate finance, and acquisitions and disposals of both freehold and leasehold properties. She has acted for a variety of clients in the public and private sectors, as well as clients based outside the UK acquiring property in England and Wales.

She has experience in assisting the corporate department with commercial property aspects of corporate acquisitions.

Hannah spent 6 months on secondment with Welsh Government following qualification.

  • Assisting on the leasehold acquisition for an overseas developer of a large mixed-use development from a London Borough. This included reviewing the complex title, considering appropriation rights under s203 of the Housing and Planning Act 2016 together with negotiating long leases to deal with the different aspects of the development.
  • Acting on the assignment of a private members club in London for a premium.
  • Acting in the re-gearing of an office lease on behalf of an international charity.
  • Acting for an award-winning lender in relation to development finance transactions which involved dealing with a range of title issues such as rights of way, rights of light and historic restrictive covenants.
  • Negotiating wayleave agreements on behalf of an institutional landlord with both the tenants and operators.
