Melanie Williams
Melanie is an Associate in our Corporate and Commercial team. She focuses on acquisitions, disposals, private equity, and joint ventures. Melanie also advises clients on a number of commercial agreements, as well as insolvency procedures.
She acts for private equity funds, management teams, from start-ups to large listed companies, directors and individual shareholders. She has worked on both the buy-side and the sell-side, cross-border and UK transactions.
Melanie has managed the disposal of multiple companies for a FTSE 100 PLC, and is expert in project managing acquisition and disposal processes.
She also provides advice on directors duties, avoiding insolvency, administrations and the consequences of insolvency.
- Advised Westbridge Capital on its investment in AJM Mobility group, a leading integrated wheelchair service provider for the NHS.
- Advised NCL Technology Ventures Ltd on its investment into Ampersand Health Limited.
- Advised private equity fund RJD on its investment in Survey Solutions Group.
- Advised Hartley Pensions Ltd’s acquisition of a number of SIPPS and SASS’ from Greyfriars Group as part of a pre-pack administration.
- Advised WestBridge Capital on the investment of £10m to assist in the MBO of London-based Channel 3 Consulting Limited, which designs, implements, and optimises digital transformation programmes for the health and care sector.
- Advised Sun Capital Partners on its acquisition of leading non-standard insurance provider Complete Cover Group, alongside its existing management team.
- Advised Bellavista on its acquisition of The Waverley Care Centre, the largest care home acquisition in Wales in 2020.
