Simon Williams

Solicitor
Commercial Disputes

Simon joined our Commercial Disputes team as a Solicitor in April 2019, having trained with a tier 1 regional law firm.

Simon has experience of advising on a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious matters, with a particular focus on disputes involving breach of contract and infringement of intellectual property rights.

He has a strong track record of resolving disputes on behalf of businesses and individuals at an early stage.

His recent work includes advising on partnership disputes, defamation, high value and complex construction and professional negligence claims and bankruptcy and insolvency matters.

He also has a key sector focus on clients involved in the sports industry and has advised several high-profile sporting organisations based in Wales.

While completing his LPC at Cardiff University Simon worked in a commercial services team which specialised in contracts, technology, intellectual property and data protection.

He also spent time on secondment working as an in-house adviser to a sports marketing agency.

Simon is thorough and conscientious. His strategy and clear advice enabled us to resolve a complex dispute involving breach of contract and breach of covenant issues.
