Tom Jones

Tom is a Solicitor in our Corporate and Commercial team.

Tom graduated from De Montfort University in 2013 where he studied law under an academic scholarship and completed the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University in 2018.

Prior to joining Capital, Tom worked for several years at a planning consultancy dealing with contentious work by lodging and arguing appeals against the refusal of planning permission and/or enforcement action to the Planning Inspectorate. Tom worked on both high-end architectural appeals and for Gypsy and Traveller clients and has gained a wealth of experience in this sector, along with the importance of both clarity and pragmatism in advising a diverse client base.

Tom spent the year between completing his LPC and joining Capital at a well-known international law firm’s Cardiff branch in their property and projects team, dealing with several work streams, but primarily working on drafting and negotiating deeds of easement on behalf of a major utility company client.
