Tom Phillips

Tom is a consultant of Capital, and specialises in providing pragmatic analysis and solutions to businesses, particularly focusing on improvement and fast growth operations.

Tom graduated from Swansea University with a degree in Marine Biology.

He went on to have a 10 year career with KPMG, in both London and Cambridge, working primarily in corporate finance and turnaround.

In 1995, Tom took a management position with the Caudwell Group mobile phone business, and, within 8 years, had successfully grown the customer base from 20,000 to 2 million.

Tom went on to work with Vodafone, assisting with strategic projects and ultimately managing their entire customer infrastructure.

Following a two year career break in which he pursued hobbies such as property developing and shark tagging, Tom was headhunted to take on a telecommunications business, successfully co-ordinating the turnaround and re-recruitment of the organisation.

In addition to Capital, Tom has clients in Hi-Tech, Tech Services and Retail Fashion businesses.
